ABRSM exams cancelled due to coronavirus as of today

Is there anyone in the same boat? So gutted, as DD1's exam was tomorrow, the first day the cancellation is effective. What are people planning to do, just skip the grade and start playing new material? Or keep practising in the hope that at some point they will reinstate the exam (but we don't know when)?

my DD's was cancelled as she arrived at the centre. I think we will just start the next grade up. Annoying but she was actually relieved!

Oh my goodness - that would be the worst to have it cancelled as you turn up! Sorry about that. DD did her exam last week but not too confident , she mucked up piece A and also 2 scales apparently. She probably would have preferred to miss it too. We’ll move on whatever - she played perfectly at home in the morning. It’s just a few nerves when in the centre.
