Anyone have a little girl in Rainbows?

My little girl has just started Rainbows last week and is loving it. I’m about to order her uniform online but I’m really confused by the sizing. She would usually wear an age 4-5years in clothes. With that in mind, what size uniform should I order?

Size up for the top the badges go on to- you don't want to have to move badges!

My skinny DD had the small top. She only did a year before moving to Beavers, but the top would have been tight by 7yo.

My DD is tall but quite slim. I bought the medium and it is still big on her at age 7.

@Aroundtheworldin80moves I am rubbish at sewing and I am dreading sewing the badges on!

Anyway, I ordered a small, hopefully it will last her a good while and I won’t have to re sew the badges on too often.

Saw this too late...
My DD is going to Brownies soon, I got a medium top, it still fits her reasonably well. Hopefully you don't have to worry about trousers/ leggings, she was in the XS size until a couple of months ago!
