Piano book / series for an 8 year old beginner

I'm hoping to get some feedback on the following beginner first piano books - its for an 8 year old - John Thompson seems to be the most popular but the rest have great reviews as well -

Pam Wedgewood basics / Up-Grade (0-1)

My DD has John Thompson Easiest a piano Course and has made amazing progress in 8 weeks. She Dr oes have an outstanding teacher which helps a lot!

one more that seems to have great reviews is Piano Adventures series

I was going to say Piano Adventures - great variety of styles, and I love how the Primer book uses the whole length of the piano at the beginning inc black notes rather than starting with just middle C. Fun duet parts for a teacher or parent to play along.

Between home and teacher and two kids we also went through JT, Piano Time and Tunes for Ten Fingers, but PA has been my and kids' favourite. We had US editions and I scribbled on UK notation, but think you can get UK versions too now?

10 notes for 10 fingers is the beginner one to Piano Time 1

Piano Time and Tunes for Ten fingers are both by Pauline Hall. Piano Time 1 also starts from scratch, but moves faster - for younger children some people do Tunes for Ten Fingers 1 and 2 first then PT1.

Piano time BK1 or Piano adventures Primer probably, although I am now intrigued by the Book 1 from the online violin and piano tutor - possibly aimed at adults though.
