Hi...does anyone know with volunteering if you do the equivalent of six months of hours (at a rate of four or five hours a day) but it’s only spread of 6 weeks (not six months) if that is acceptable? Cant seem to work it out from their website. Thanks!

Not certain, but my understanding from dd's school regarding the bronze award was that you can't do the hours in a compressed period because part of the idea is about committing to something for a certain period of time.

I don't think so. DD is doing Bronze and they've been told that it's the length of time ie 3 months that counts as they're after commitment to something over a period of time.

Ah okay...thank you...that does make sense

I agree the answer is no. There is a dgree of flexibility, but the idea is they commit regularly over the months and can't compress it into a couple of weekends (or even months)
