I posted this on the gifted and talented yesterday but got no response, so I hoped some Music paremts here woukd have some info.

My eldest came back from Music summer camp saying that this school was suggested for them -musicamundischool.org
I've had a good read if the web page and it comes across as perfect.
My only problem is that I've taught in international schools for 20 years and I know there are amazing ones and then shockers that are just money spinners.

I hope that anyone who knows about this school might give me their opinion / discuss experiences.

I would also love to hear about other children on the music path. Thank you in advance.

Do you live in Belgium?

Themutts · 05/08/2019 20:14

No, but in anotger country not far from there. My children speak English/ French/ German in that order.

I see, I just wondered why you were looking at a school in Belgium as opposed to the specialist music schools in the UK. I have no experience of this school, sorry. There has been quite a bit of discussion over the years on the music thread re. the pros and cons of specialist music schools.

Themutts · 05/08/2019 20:56

To be honest I wasn't looking for a specialist music school at all. My eldest was just very excited about it and asking lots of questions that I couldn't answer. Thanks.

Ah, sorry, from the website it looked like a specialist music school.

School looks very interesting, what does he play, age etc
Did he attend the associated summer camp?
