Grade 5 theory- are there any alternative dates?

I’m guessing the answer will be no!

Dd was planning to take Grade 5 theory on June 15th (summer sitting) but we have just heard from her school that this will be in the middle of the French Exchange- aaaarrrrgggghhh!!!!! Do they offer any alternative dates for these types of clashes or is it literally the 3 published dates a year?

Just three dates a year I’m afraid Sad

It’s so annoying!! The spring date is 6th March - so 2 months away basically and November is a whole year. Massively frustrating Sad

I'd ring around some of the local schools, esp. private, and see if anyone is having a Special Visit for Theory that term. They are occasionally on different days, with a different exam paper.

The theory dates are always the same-whether you do it as a private visit or go to a centre. I used to run them when I worked at a boarding school.

Oh... but they used to have 4 papers per year, for session A, session B, session C and Special Visits. Is that no longer the case?
