hello, please could someone tell me, is colourstrings method (giza szilvay) used for all ages for beginners and if not, for what age is it suitable, and at what point do the students go on to read notes, and is there any drawback to not reading notes at the outset? thank you!

Hi, my child does colourstrings. He started with the kindergarten classes age 5. They learn solfege and the basics of music theory in a physical, fun way. After two years of that, he then moved on to learning an instrument. Not sure if that answers your question, but it's a fantastic method and my child has progressed really quickly and brilliantly with colourstrings.
