I haven’t seen a thread about Perform apart from old ones with mixed reviews.

Just wanted to share my views regarding my daughter Lara’s experience at the Marylebone W1 classes incase there are others in the area who are interested.

I was torn between Perform, Sylvia Young & I have to say as a way to ease your child into the world of drama & theatre and being a confident performer this is a great class.

I love Lara's enthusiasm and how her confidence in front of an audience is growing. I also appreciated Aleds feedback about Lara so nice to know she encourages others to try & that she listens.

She really does look forward to classes & although you don’t get to view the classes initially I did recently get a flavour of what they do and sat in the last 20 minutes of a class & was so fun to watch how my daughter has developed and she’s still in her first term at Perform.

I would say they do focus more on confidence, developing social and communication skills. So if you want a serious theatre school where castings regularly take place perhaps this isn’t for you but that aside I highly recommend Perform if you are attending the class in Marylebone Aled is great!
