Violinist - protection/covers for injured fingers

My daughter did a recital last night, unfortunately she had a cut finger which was healing but started to bleed during the performance. Someone mentioned to her you can buy something especially to put on fingers for situations like this and she would still be able to play. Does anyone know what we need to buy?

also the spray on bandage stuff can help (or paint on). it peels off after a while, especially with the friction of a string, but it does protect for a while, and is more flexible and feels more natural than plasters; it depends on how deep the cut is and how sore it is to touch and how important the playing is as to which I'd use. Id use a few layers of the spray on stuff if I were using it, make it as thick as possible.
