U9 football - metal tipped studs on boots?

DD is about to start football with the local U9 team and needs studded boots. I just ordered a cheapest pair online in the right size & thought "job done". DH has commented on the fact that the studs are plastic apart from the tips which are metal and asked if these are allowed. My theory is that they must be as otherwise they wouldn't be sold but that's not a watertight theory! Google doesn't seem to be throwing up an answer and DH has swanned off to work leaving me pondering whether DD has the right kit or not. Any ideas?

A lot of teams don't allow metal studs.

Metal studs are meant for playing on very soft grass. They arnt allowed on Astro or 3G surfaces.

Most kids playing on grass will wear firm ground boots which are either plastic studs or blades.
