Flute grade 5 music book recommendations

My dd had just passed her grade 5 flute exam
Does anyone know of any flute songbooks for grade 5 - 6 that you can recommend, the ones her teacher has said to buy are really dull

She wants something fun before she starts on abrsm grade 6

I can't recommend any but there are loads out there.
I agree she needs some fun pieces, she must have worked really hard.

Thanks - the music has to be grade appropriate. I can find lots of books but they all seem to be too easy

Post Grade 5 flute... Anything from the 'Guest Spot' series - they come will fully orchestrated backing CDs, and there are loads... film music, chart hits, Abba etc. They tend to be Grades 3-6, so she'll be able to do lots of them straight away. For more serious, but fun, albums, you could try 'Let's Dance' by Richard Kershaw, 'Six Pastiches' by Cecilia MacDowell, Rutter's 'Suite Antique' (a couple of these of these are very hard, but most are grades 5-6), 'A Faure Flute Album' and 'Music Through Time - Book 4'.
