Advice on Drama club in Putney/Wandsworth - Little Voices/Polka Wimbledon/Putney Arts

Hello all,

Ds is 9 and loves drama - he's had speech and language problems and has come on massively and now really loves to act and has won a couple of acting competitions etc.
Hello all,

I'm looking for a good drama group for training. Don't think Perform/Stagecoach etc suitable - need something that really wants to train them up for potentially studying drama. I've narrowed it down to Little Voices in Swaffield School, Polka Theatre Wimbledon's Youth theatre and Putney Arts' youth theatre - does anyone have experience of any of these?

Any advice very much appreciated!

If you're in Merton, Reflect Productions is good - they have a Saturday morning school and do exams or there are more informal sessions in the week. My youngest did a holiday programme with them a few years back and the Twelfth Night they came up with was very good indeed. Look at reflect productions.co.uk to see if it's the sort of thing you're after.

A friend of mine was in the same situation as you OP. She took her DS to the Lantern Arts Theatre children's club in Raynes Park & was very impressed with how much he improved.
