Dd1 doing Grade 1. I'm so nervous for her and can hear her coughing.

Very well done to her - how wonderful!

My 10 year old has been a complete star as well - Grade 5 Theory with distinction! She is at a friend's house, so I just texted the other mum. That was worth all the complaining and screaming!

Congrats to those with results so far. That's excellent news. Just got results for my DD's grade 2 theory - distinction. I'm so happy for her. She wants to do grade 5 theory in June but I've convinced her to stick with grade 4 for now.

What excellent results!!

Her teacher texted me to say she had the results and would I like to wait until Thursday when her next lesson is. Er, no!!!!! Dd1 was playing the violin at the time and nearly dropped it in excitement.

2ndSopranosRule, the teacher is such a tease, isn't she! Distinction news should be instant, LOL! Well done to your DD.

Just got back from Easter holiday to find that DD got 96%😲! She was getting 60ish on past papers a week before exam. Has shown what she can do if she puts her mind to it!

That's amazing swarskicat - that's the highest theory mark I've heard about this session. My DD got 90% so not quite as good, but she got the distinction she really wanted. I think I scored 93% when I was 15... my daughter is only 10!

And just singing grade 4 result - a distinction with 95%! Was trinity, which she had heard was easier to get a distinction...but v proud mum hereGrin
