How much do ballet and music lessons cost?

Am moving to the UK soonish and am trying to work out a budget -

My DD is 16 and has been doing ballet since she was little. What can I expect to pay for lessons?

And same for DS, who will be in junior school and wants to carry on his music lessons - in school if possible - are they hugely expensive?

I live on the edge of Gloucestershire.

DD's flute lessons used to be £12 per half hour after school at her teacher's house. She's now in school in Oxfordshire and we pay £15 per lesson for a 1/2 hour shared lesson with one other girl.

As for Dancing, my DDs dance in Wiltshire and pay approx £50 a term (10 lessons) per genre, plus £11 per half hour lesson for their private festival dancing.

S/W Yorks, DD - £3/half hour ballet lesson, but she's only 4. I imagine same dance school would be more for older age groups, exam prep etc.

DS -7 - £6/Hr for group (of 4) music (guitar) lesson.

We pay £40 Shock an hr for private music lessons and £125 a term for school music lessons. We're in the Midlands.

Our peripatetic music service teachers have been absolutely fantastic - both my dc practise regularly and have made great progress. The music service in our area overall has been amazing with orchestras, bands and ensembles available for everything!
