Am I being neurotic not wanting my 13 year old son to go on a school trip to France? X

School have cancelled. Decision made - phew!

My son is year 8 and will be going to France next year with school. My daughter went on the France trip when she was year 8, at the parent's meeting one parent asked if there was perimeter fencing around the accommodation. Another asked about asylum seekers storming the coach when the driver stops for petrol. The only thing concerning me at the moment is fussy ds not liking the food, dd said it was rubbish when she went.
