anyone's kids done/involved n NYO inspire?

DD2 has had an invite to apply- apparently only 6 from the music service are chosen... She's only preparing for grade 8 so not really NYO clarinet material in terms of applying for the orchestra but its a flattering thing to be asked to apply for and one the others didn't do :)

Hope it'll boost her confidence and she'll get chosen for the week or half term course, mind you given our luck it'll be the local day in July .... when she wont be able to go as she's on choir tour with school LOL

if your child did it , how was it?

Mine did it when it was just single days but highly recommended!

My son is applying for the 1 day course. He is only 12, turns 13 after some of the courses start - so we have been told that he may not get a place if there are more applicants than places. Looks like great fun though, and he would really enjoy it.
