Books/pieces followed by a piano Gr-1 Gr-2 student.

Parents/Teachers,
Curious to know what all your DC did around Gr-1 to Gr-2 time frame ? I recommended first book of bach , burgmuller etc. to teacher but he said he start those around grade-3 ? We have been doing few pieces from Upgrade 1-2, Czerny Op 823.

Burgmuller actually has some pieces in between gr1 and gr2.....
We did Burgmuller, Bach (Anna Magdalena)

Classics to Moderns Book 1 and book 2" and A Keyboard Anthology Book 1 are compilations of classical music at the right level.

If you want more up to date music Elissa Milne has a lovely series called Little Peppers. easy Little Peppers is grade 1-2 and pieces have been used for ABRSM and Trinity exams.
