URGENT: Natioanl Youth Theatre: do they offer accommodation?

DS1 (aged 14) is auditioning for the National Youth Theatre tomorrow and we've never done anything like this before- and from what information we've gleaned from the website, it seems that they don't offer any accommodation to the young people they invite to attend the courses in London during the summer. Is this true? It's just we're not based in, or within a commutable distance of London, and if the NYT are expecting us to find accommodation for ourselves then I don't think we could afford hotel fees for two weeks! So, do they offer accommodation?

Friend of mine did it two or three times when we were at school and I'm sure he was in some kind of hostel / dorm type thing. But that was ages ago so may all have changed.

Be surprised if under 16s are expected to fend for selves in London though...

balletgirl is it the dorm-type/hostel sort of thing where they're looked after by a pastoral team?

O searched and found someone posted that they paid another £380 for accommodation on top of course fees. We live in easy reach so dont need accommodation.

However would say my dd isnt really bothered about getting in as the day is a good experience by itself. She would be thrilled obviously if she did make it.

this say £430
