Has anyone's child made NCO from the Reserve list ?

Hi there, I was just wondering if anyone’s dc has been offered a place with NCO from the Reserve list ? My dc is on the reserve list for 2015 and I would be interested to hear if anyone’s child has actually ever gained a full place from the reserves before ?. I expect that for this year we probably would have heard by now! - Thanks for any replies!

Hi which orchestra is dc reserve for? Apparently some under 11s sometimes don't make it due to 11plus prep etc. when we asked last year we were told it does very occasionally happen, but could be at anytime so maybe Jan but maybe closer to the course? Good luck - dd was a reserve for training orchestra last year and we assumed she wouldn't be called (but secretly hoped she would!) and she wasn't. Did get a full place this year.

Hi Janet, she's a reserve for the U12s so there could possibly be some young U12s who may be doing the 11+. Like you we do assume that she won't be called but are still hoping!! Well done to your dd for getting a place this year, I hope she has a wonderful time!

Not my DC, but I know two DC were called for the NYOB after getting 'reserve' letters.
