Music festivals with Traditional/folk music classes?

I think some of you have mentioned playing/ teaching traditional music. We are on holiday in Ireland and friends arranged for DD (9) to have an impromptu improvisation session today with an amazing cellist who specialises in Irish music. She was absolutley bowled over - by both the airs she learnt, the techniques and sound, and the improvisation; she has never improvised on the cello before and found it very liberating. So I was wondering if there were any traditional music classes in any of the festivals/competiotns as she would love to hear more and play more. Am guessing it would be mostly woodwind, harp and violin entries.

We have a traditional music class for Strings at www.hmyf.org.uk which is a youth festival held in South Manchester each March. It's my favourite class!

Thank you so much that looks brilliant - as long as they don't mind an interloper from Birmngham!
