I am an assistant Leader of a Christian (CofE) Cub Pack. We are going to visit a Jewish Cub Pack in a few weeks, with a view to obtaining the World Faith Badge. They are going to show us the synagogue, have some games, etc. We need to present our Christian Faith to them, but be aware of things we cannot say/do/bring into the synagogue. I wondered if someone here might be able to advise me on what sort of things we can do. I know we can't talk about the crucifiction and Christ's role in th eHoly Trinity. But, could we do something like talk about Christmas from more of a cultural perspective rather than a religious one (e.g. the history of the Christmas Tree). I don't know, any ideas welcome. I have to organise this with my cubs on Monday.
Thank you!
