DS did his A2 performance yesterday. The playing went well - 20th century recorder repertoire.

Playing 15-20 mins - spot on time "viva" nearly another 40mins of " nice chat, I don't think she was bored.....it got a bit geeky...."

Hopefully that's ok lol! Surely she'd have booted him out after the 15mins allocated if she'd wanted to?

Well that's out if the way AND he wasn't over anxious at all.

Yay for your DS! What's he hoping to do next year and where?

Wafflenose · 13/03/2014 14:18

It sounds like he did really well!

RaspberryLemonPavlova · 13/03/2014 22:23

Hooray. Well done your DS.

DS did his GCSE duet piece today, something else done and dusted.

Clobbered · 13/03/2014 22:29

Gotta love a good geeky recorder chat!

Theas18 · 14/03/2014 07:35

I hope he did well- he thinks he might, though the results were heavily moderated last year so he's a bit concerned about that.

As clobbered said " done and dusted" which is really good and a positive experience of something he could have so easily have gone to pieces about is brilliant.

Raspberrylemon good luck o your son :) and all the other DCs that are starting all this exam stuff now (he has an ISA today !)

Bramshott not music surprisingly but medicine. Awaiting the result of 2 interviews still. Getting beyond nervous here!

It does sound like be did really well, how lovely to get an examiner that is so interested in recorders.

DD1 has AS performance in just over a week.

A recorder-playing doctor - wonderful! Grin
