Hope he remembers to mention it when discussing "leadership qualities" at uni interviews...

Head if music was off sick last week.

DS (yr 13 ) was called out of a lesson to call a mysterious mobile number - he was freaked out and nearly didn't! Turned out it was the music chap who talked him through finding the scores for that evenings after school symphony orchestra rehearsal. DS spent his study period going through the scores and marking them up. He then took the rehearsal ! All went well.

He made even the irritating violins pay attention eventually ( " though I almost made M demonstrate his part to the whole orchestra as he was pratting about").

Apparently one of the scariest things he's done in a long time lol

Oh! But still, really adult, responsible behaviour.
