Finding a piano teacher in London. Any suggestions?

Her school does not offer musical instrument tuition. Not at all. They cannot/will not give me any advice.

I need to find someone in the west hampstead/ Finchley Road area or alternatively Marylebone. Where do I start? I have asked about but the children come from all over London and beyond and no one is specifically this area.

She is only at grade 2 level and has not had lessons for 12 months. No musical genius but it sits alongside her other interests and I don't want to throw away 3 years worth of lessons at primary school. I am not bothered about grades at all, more that she keeps an interest and can play a bit. Does anyone know of a teacher or could someone suggest how I can find one. TIA.

A little further north from you but ebony and ivory in Colindale have lots of piano teachers who teach in their premises. About £15 for half an hour if i remember correctly.

Oh that would have been perfect.

But DD needs to get there and back by herself. I'm not in London and she goes to school and boards there during the week. Which is why I'm looking in those specific areas. It's a long shot, I know.

I would ask in local music shops - ours has a notice board where people can advertise.

Hi there,
I'm a piano teacher based in Islington -this is a short distance on the tube or overground from either areas you have listed here, perhaps not ideal but please do let me know if you would like more info on the tuition I offer!
All the best
