Any ideas where I can start looking for funding for a course

I'm fairly sure we can't get any & I will scrap together the money come hell or high water

But DD just got into a Dance Associate Scheme; the last one she did was partially funded & the one before fully funded.

But does anyone know where I start looking?

I think the Princes Trust is out because she is too young

Can't think if any - sorry.

Thanks Pictures; I've been through pages & pages of possibilities but we don't meet specific criteria

I've no idea what a Dance Associate Scheme is but can't the people who run it point you in the direction of charities that may offer funding? For example it is pretty usual for school bursars to have a list of educational charities that you can apply to for help with school fees (assuming you meet the criteria).

then I'd have to admit I haven't really got the money for the course

I WILL find the money somehow

How old is she then?

Schools often dish this information out, so you don't need to ask. If you are too embarrassed to ask, then there may be other, less motivated parents whose children would benefit, but who don't know about the funding either. Think of asking for any information to be announced publicly as a favour to all those other parents who are too embarrassed to admit they can't afford it.

I think it's a sign of the times that there is less money for this sort of thing around. I think if there was funding available they would have made parents aware of this when she auditioned. I know they do at Northern ballet for eg.
