Was a brass band child. Long long time ago now though. Probably not much help to you - sorry!

My whole family (me included) play in our brass band.

. My dad and sister play too :-). Can't wait till the dds are old enough!

I play percussion in a brass band, and my son plays horn! :D

I'm a tuba player- started out on trombone because I was too small at the time, but started the tuba at fourteen. Still in a band! No one else in my family likes music- my DD is okay at singing, my then all my DCs are too young for ANY instrument. I don't think DH would cope with more than one though.

Both my dc are learning as well, although dd would like to move onto brass as soon she is old enough
