GAM music course - been or going?

My ds2 is going on the GAM summer course. He doesn't know anyone going, but is quite happy with that - much braver than me.

Anyone's child going this year or been previous years? He is slightly worried about playing his violin for so long as his hand aches after a while!

He is concerned about food - fussy eater as he is. What was the food like?

i highly recommend it. All my children have gone for the past few years on various courses and always had a great time. PM me for further info if you like.

Thanks Caffeineaddict - sent you a pm.

I second this: DS went at Easter and will be going again in the summer. DS had a fantastic time at Easter and begged to be allowed to go again. The music teaching is really good, and the non-music staff and activities are lovely. Your DS2 will have a good time. Which course: is it junior orchestra or senior orchestra?

So good to hear that your children enjoyed it.

He is going on the senior course.

Anyone with experience on the jazz week? DS is 10 years old...too young to attend? He has never been in a residential week without us before!

Anyone with experience of the Grade 5 Theory course?
