Fun raising activities to raise money for local cubs

Hi,
Myself and another mum from my sons cubs has been asked to put forward some ideas for fun raising as the hut is in need of new heating.
Any ideas as neither of us have done anything like this before.

Sponsored walk, cycle, map reading walk? Sponsored swim for badge work? Sponsored sleep over in hut (when warmer weather since you need heating?). My cub loved sleeping in tents indoors in his cub hut. Sorry nothing original here, just didn't want your post to go unanswered.

-Cake sale at the beginning of cubs one evening

-you get get the cubs to clean cars

-get everyone to bring in unwanted items and do a few car boot sales, this made us quite a bit of money but is quite a lot of work and you need to have a few parents who are willing to give up a whole morning, also need to have space to store the items.
