Do any of your kids do cheerleading?

My DDs are going to give it a try tomorrow.They already do gymnastics but fancied diversifying.I really don't know what to expect i have only seen it in American films.

My DD was in a cheerleading club at school last year. It's a sort of cross between dance and gymnastics/ acrobatics. Not all involves pom poms.

It's a real up and coming activity- some schools particularly up Noth take it very seriously. DDs school are a little more relaxed about it but they took a team to the UKCA National championships at the Manchester velodrome in June and she had a really great time.
