help I can't remove one of my boys football studs

I need to change my ds's studs from metal tipped to rubber as he can't have the metal tips for school.
11 studs came out easy, but one just will not budge,I'm using the little tool they came with, I have also tried pliers, as has my dh to no avail.
The offending stud is now looking pretty knackered; so it's to late to save it, but I really need to get it out.
Can anyone help me?

Have you tried spraying it with WD40 and leaving it for 20 minutes. That usually works. Or stick the boot in the freezer for a while. Metal contracts slightly when it's cold and that might be enough to loosen it.

Have tried the wd40, but will try the freezer. I'm getting pretty desperate.
Thanks for your replyGrin
