November total 191.1. (I think)

I'm still resting so am just checking in! @Irun4Me hope the 2 weeks go quickly for you, very frustrating though.

PaddingtonPaddington · 16/11/2020 19:26

Early progressive run this morning. Beautiful sunrise.

Hope the resting is going well pepperminttaste.
Good short interval session this morning, a scorching 13 degrees so broke out the one race t shirt I earned this year!

Wee run to and from hairdressers last night; the unseasonal warmth has definitely gone!

Lovely pics @emummy I seem to be out at the wrong time for pictures atm (or the skies are too grey).

Trail run again this morning

Fab photos emummy

Lovely run this afternoon despite the wind.

Absolutely stunning run this morning up a local hill. Challenging thanks to the churned up path - thanks mountain bikers! - the steep climbs, the wind and probable minus temperatures, but it was clear and sunny and totally gorgeous. I could see all the way to the sea 20 miles away. Still on a high - can you tell?! Totally knackered now mind you, and promised to take my daughter shopping this afternoon. Coffee time!

I’ve finally been back out. Went with a friend. It was so nice to be out running again.
And also seeing someone who isn’t a member of my family!!
Lovely pictures emummy

Please can I join your thread? I've been reading it for months but never actually posted, you all seem like "proper" runners and I'm still building up speed and distance!

Did a lovely 7k today through the park with the blue sky and I loved it!

PepeLePew · 22/11/2020 19:33

And me, please? Am slowly building up distance - now at 13km having run nowhere in 15 years. But slow....

emummy · 22/11/2020 20:07

Welcome both! If you run you are a runner! Whatever your speed, distance, how often you run, doesn’t matter, come on here & tell us about it. The numbers in bold are the total for all of us, so you can just add your miles on. Good luck with building your distance and enjoying your running.

PepeLePew · 22/11/2020 22:29

In that case, I’ll start now with today’s which was my longest ever at 7.7 miles. It was a beautiful day and I ran through central London which was largely empty. I can’t believe how far I’m able to go now having only started, at nearly 50, in May. It’s something I look forward to now, which would have been unimaginable six months ago.

Welcome @pomegranatefizz and @PepeLePew any run is a good run and everyone is welcome on this thread whatever their ability or goal. When I started running I struggled to run for 2 mins!

Early morning run, so cold definitely needed gloves.

Welcome pomegranatefizz and PepeLePew. I definitely echo what the others have said about all being welcome.
Nice run this evening. I like running in the evening at this time of year as I like Christmas lights/tree spotting

Can I please join? Smile

emummy · 23/11/2020 21:52

Please do @firstimemamma!
Sounds like a lovely run @PepeLePew; it must be a bit weird running through the empty city!

firstimemamma · 23/11/2020 22:00

I gently jogged ran 4 miles today, along the sea front. Not quite sure about the numbers thing!

emummy · 23/11/2020 22:06

Sounds lovely, running by the sea is so nice. The numbers are the total for everyone on the thread, so with your 4 that's

firstimemamma · 23/11/2020 22:10

@emummy thanks and yes I love the sea!

emummy · 24/11/2020 07:37

Intervals in the dark this morning & not too cold. Also figured out that I’ve been wearing my head torch upside down! It works a lot better now...
