Number 14 now full up. I don’t think a new one has been started yet?
November total 191.1. (I think)

Amaura Glad the physio has made the decision for you. At least they didn’t say no running at all.

Managed to find a break in the rain

Extremely wet run this morning, nice hilly loop

Mine was wet this morning but nice. Going for the little and often approach at the moment and that seems to be working for the back and motivation

So much for the little and often!! A friend was doing a virtual event today so joined her for a couple of miles to support. Did quite a lot more Grin but felt alright. Bit achy now though.

Well done IRun good to support others.

Very wet run this morning with friends but there was so much chatting we’d done more than planned. Passed another couple of runners doing the virtual London marathon and gave them a good cheer of encouragement.

So wet running around while the children played rugby.

The massaging is making it go through the get worse to get better stage. So low miles

10km and a 5km over the weekend and just a walk on Thursday

Glad the massage is helping Amaura.
Rain-free run this morning, did some fartlek, trying to shift some weight.

Hello everybody.

I was just wondering if I could join you? I've been running on and off for a few years but have been getting more and more into it this year.

I don't know many runners and, well, it would be good to have people to chat to about it!

So, the wee number at the bottom of your posts... Feel like I should be able to guess what it is but someone is going to have to help me out!

emummy · 06/10/2020 12:41

Welcome pepperminttaste! The number is the total numbers of miles run that month by everybody posting. So if you ran 3 miles today you would add that 3 to the previous total. It's always nice to have new people join; have you been able to get out more during lockdown?

pepperminttaste · 06/10/2020 14:09

Ah. That makes sense!

I only really got back out once lockdown started to properly ease as the streets here were pretty busy. I'm trying to run 3 times a week but injured my knee a few weeks ago. Went out this morning and so far all seems okay...

Thanks for the welcome!

Welcome @pepperminttaste. Can’t wait to talk. I’m on the go gentle while keeping the injury bench warm train too.

Gentle run with DH today, now children are at school and I’m not doing tempo, we can take advantage of both working from home

Intervals in the wet last night and intervals in the wet tonight. Got to love the rain!

Hello and welcome pepperminttaste I hope the knee is getting better.
A couple of runs to add Went out this morning but had no energy- before, during or after - but it was nice to be out. Glad I’ve got a couple of challenges at the moment to keep me motivated.

Sunny & rainy run this morning, felt really nice.

pepperminttaste · 10/10/2020 11:26

Morning!

I needed to force myself out this morning as well. Didn't go as far as I'd planned but I took an off-the-beaten-track detour that was muddy and uneven and hard work. It was very autumnal.

116.5

emummy · 10/10/2020 11:30

Can’t beat a muddy autumn run! Part of my route was through muddy woods today, it’s a real workout. Especially in white road shoes!

Amaura · 10/10/2020 13:59

Glad those who forced themselves out enjoyed it

Bike ride and a social 10km this morning.

IRun4Me · 10/10/2020 16:44

I went through muddy woods aswell. Forced DS to come with me. He moaned most of the way round probably because I wouldn’t let him walk Grin
