I don't feel sorry for them. A lot of Brits in the Cost del Sol flew under the radar, doing cash in hand work, not paying any taxes in either Britain or Spain, but being able to access health care in both countries. Erhmm there'a word for people like them...

My parents lived in Spain yet could be quite racist when they visited home...typical 'using our health care, taking our jobs, having their own shops' horrors.

If I ever wanted to light the touch paper I always called them 'immigrants' and made comparisons with them 'using the Spanish healthcare system for major ops, eating only in British bars, meeting only English speaking people' etc.

They just couldn't see it! ( and voted leave!)
