Do people think Boris will get a deal at the eleventh hour, or will it be no deal?

I think it'll be no deal.

According to the Daily mail businesses are being told it's no deal.
( I know it's the mail ..)
However, the tv news isn't all doom and gloom : maybe things will turn around?
I've no idea at all.

I was about 60:40 deal/no deal yesterday.

Today with news that the final deadline was not the final deadline after all, I am 80:20 deal/no deal.

It sounds like Johnson has conceded that future divergence will have a cost, which is the big breakthrough IMO.

His backbenchers will hate it, but it will be enough for him to present it as a triumphant world-beating deal.

I think the deadline will be extended beyond 2020 as 4 years is not enough to come to an agreement.

I think there is practically no chance of a deal being done at this stage.

I'm finding it really hard to take - what the firetrucking hell are we letting these morons do to our country and all our futures? This would be shooting ourselves in both feet in normal times, but to even consider doing this at the height of a pandemic is criminal.

A deal - the cabinet have said they will back any deal that he brings back. Starmer will nod it through even if ERG piss all over his political deal and the Eu will allow some minor concessions to be tarted up to count as major concessions. He is a weak and vacillating excuse of a man and the EU has shown resolve. Panic buying now I see as a legitimate form of protest for the more images of long queues and empty supermarket shelves compounded by endless calls from real businesses in crisis will push his hand to sign. So get shopping ...

No deal. Boris is too much of a populist to agree to a deal that would displeased the media. He doesn't think long term,.so consequences be damned.

I suppose the only thing to do is to add to my stockpile of food / household items. Either way, it won't go to waste. I feel sorry for those who can't afford any potential price rises - there's already so much food poverty here.

I too think No Deal. Johnson and his cronies always wanted a No Deal in my opinion. They know they and their friends will be ok, they’ll make billions in disaster capitalism and the Uk will eventually recover. They don’t care about anyone else and hopefully the population will stop being taken in by these liars and they’ll be kicked out at the next GE.
