How do I report factually incorrect election material?

I've had a flyer through my door from a candidate who states that this constituency has been Labour held for 40 years
which would be news to the chap who was Tory MP here until 1997 !

Lib Dems are usually relentless with their door knocking round here and they haven't been once. I do think they have given up. The mountain of advertising 'material' hasn't stopped though.

There is one photo on one of the leaflets explaining that the Lib Dem candidate is talking to a local resident (back if head shot). Except it isn't just any local resident - it's the previous Lib Dem candidate/new MEP. And they are stood in door way of MEP's house....
Talk about a fake staged photo.

Local papers are just branches of national networks now
They do not pay journalists
and why SHOULD the paper have to investigate?

It should be an automatic deposit forfeit
and then a penalty for the number of factually incorrect leaflets

remember my case is not about polling data
its pretending that we did not have a Tory MP for many years
