Every measure the Conservatives (and coalition) took in the name of austerity had a disproportionately negative effect on women. He voted for every one of them.

He's not a good guy. He's a Conservative who is better at PR than most Conservatives.

You are entitled to your opinion. Like I say, he is a Tory and so I could never vote for him and disagree with him on many things, but his arguments are carefully thought out and rational. He does not deal in soundbites. A remain voter who sets out his case to support the Johnson deal with clarity.

I was taught to respect the arguments of those I disagree with. Weren't you?
