A bridge over troubled waters.

MockersthefeMANist · 18/11/2019 18:56

Bridge to jump off if (candidate name here) gets in.

MistiMorning · 06/12/2019 16:13

Bump, for those wanting a temporary thread.

Piggywaspushed · 06/12/2019 16:15

bigchoc is that not a link to a Nov thread??

TheMustressMhor · 06/12/2019 16:16

Not a temporary thread.

PMK (with cat)

And I am thoroughly depressed about everything, especially after reading the whole of the last thread.

Have people lost their minds and their compassion? Or did they never have any?

TheMustressMhor · 06/12/2019 16:17

Which thread are we going to?

Piggywaspushed · 06/12/2019 16:17

Has anyone come across any views from Alan Sugar recently? He is normally a fairly vocal Labour supporter and peer and I haven't heard of his views on Corbyn, or on anti-Semitism allegations?

Piggywaspushed · 06/12/2019 16:19

Oh, I have now looked at dates and am proper confused : it's like colour/talent all over again...

TheMustressMhor · 06/12/2019 16:20

I don't often post but I always read these threads.

This is the only place I come to for news and analysis on the election and Brexit. Thanks to all the erudite posters.

ListeningQuietly · 06/12/2019 16:21

I got a personalised Brexit Party mailshot today
it has a picture of Farage on the front and the candidate's name on the back in small font
goodness knows why they thought I might vote for them Grin

JustAnotherPoster00 · 06/12/2019 16:23

PMK

BaloneyInMySlacks · 06/12/2019 16:23

Fuck me you've confused me now! I've been on 4 threads.

KeithPartridge · 06/12/2019 16:24

Is this the new(ish) thread?

TheMustressMhor · 06/12/2019 16:26

Are we sticking with this one?

I have had six bits of literature for the Lib Dems so far.

Two for the SNP (Argyll & Bute)

Nothing from anyone else.

There is one lone Conservative poster up in the village. it looks very out of place among all the SNP ones.

Lib Dems seem to be determined to send mountains of crap, which goes straight into the bin. What a waste of shiny paper.

borntobequiet · 06/12/2019 16:26

Thanks tobee
Will await further thread developments.

TheMustressMhor · 06/12/2019 16:27

And I am so thankful to be living in a safe SNP seat these days.

KeithPartridge · 06/12/2019 16:28

I've just seen Sinn Fein and SDLP ones around here as it's a safe SF seat. The SDLP has STOP BREXIT, STOP BORIS emblazoned across it.😂😂

yolofish · 06/12/2019 16:29

we had one from the SDP, which I had never heard of and read first off thinking WTF the SNP are canvassing here? (deepest darkest Kent). Anyway the SDP want to leave the EU and cut immigration (bloody darkies y'know!) so that's gone in the bin.

Pan2 · 06/12/2019 16:31

Good this is soooo British!

Pan2 · 06/12/2019 16:33

We've had one from Ruth George, sitting Labour MP, and one from Tory - but the Tory one was so anonymous you had to read it carefully to ensure it was actually a Tory one. Weird. No mention of BJ or NHS or anything really.
