Polling Cards - have you got them yet?

I'd like this to be a thread solely based on whether you have got your polling cards yet.

It's now just a month to go before the election. I've not had my polling cards yet. My household is already on the register, but I'm now beginning to doubt whether or not I'm on. We voted in the EU elections and I've updated and posted the letter sent out during the summer.

youngestisapsycho · 15/11/2019 14:09

Do you not get one of those letters every year where you have to confirm who lives at your address and can vote?

PatriciaHolm · 15/11/2019 14:26

Yes, Surrey

Flashbackflossie · 15/11/2019 14:32

I live abroad but am still eligible to vote. I guessed there'd be a snap election so I arranged some weeks ago for a proxy vote so that my overseas vote can't get lost in the post as they'll be a tight turnaround.
Our constituency is a Tory stronghold so I'm determined to get my anti Tory vote in, in the hope that the current Brexit loving Tory twat might get unseated. The area is more Remain than Leave, so fingers crossed.

joffreyscoffees · 15/11/2019 14:37

Yes, got our yesterday. West Yorkshire.

ThisIsReworked · 15/11/2019 14:38

Hoooo · 15/11/2019 19:31

When do postal votes get sent out?

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 15/11/2019 21:35

Hoooo once the ballot papers are back from the printers. They’ll be being printed currently, so within the next couple of weeks I’d have thought.

Hoooo · 15/11/2019 21:49

Thank you

OnGoldenPond · 15/11/2019 21:51

Yes, two days ago. Devon.

AlphaJura · 16/11/2019 22:05

Still no. South west. An elderly friend in the same town as me received her postal vote on Friday. I went on the site and registered again! As although they say you don't need to if nothing has changed, I'm sure I've been kicked off before and missed local elections because I thought I was registered 🤔

EL8888 · 16/11/2019 22:07

No. Confused as in-laws have got theirs and they only live a couple of miles away

prettybird · 17/11/2019 00:32

Speaking to a friend tonight who is a returning officer and he says where we are (Glasgow) they'll only now be starting to send out the polling card as they always wait until nominations close.

MysteryTripAgain · 17/11/2019 11:03

Got ours last week. Durham

WTF0ver · 18/11/2019 21:38

Not yet but I got a notification of my name being changing (had to re-register). Scotland
