Am I doomed? Anything I need to think about?

Check your travel insurance is still suitable - EHIC will no longer be valid.

Mistigri · 19/09/2019 10:37

If all the members of your party are U.K. citizens and you have proper health insurance (check!) then you just need to cross your fingers and if necessary arm yourself with patience.

Brexit is unlikely to have happened by then anyway.

EskewedBeef · 19/09/2019 10:37

Will you have 6 months+ left on your passport?

rosina38 · 19/09/2019 10:39

Yes husband and I have more than 6 months on passport, both UK citizens, we have travel insurance too. And an international driving permit as we are hoping to rent a car.

I will be 11 weeks pregnant so I really need a lash holiday 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Last! Not lash!

you probably know this but make sure it's the right sort of international driving permit, as there are two.

Mistigri · 19/09/2019 10:42

And as you are pg, make very very sure that your insurance covers everything if the Ehic card isn't working!

rosina38 · 19/09/2019 10:45

@Mistigri thanks, I have no idea as husband sorted out the IDP but will check with him. Will give the insurance company a call just to check all is in order. I'm really hoping I can have my scan before I go so at least some reassurance the baby is in the right place 😬

It wasn't brexit that doomed my holiday (yet) it was Thomas Cook! Thinking of all the staff and people in difficult situations though x

Will you get your money back and can you rebook? In the UK if needed!

Mistigri · 23/09/2019 14:26

Ah Rosina sorry to hear that :(

Will you get your money back?

BlackeyedGruesome · 23/09/2019 18:23

Bugger, that sucks. Hope you get your money back.
