Breaking news but scant on detail. Anybody know anything?

Reported as started by pro-Leave - pro-EU not reported as involved - twitter.com/BBCHelena/status/1170354860237164546

Only what’s on Twitter. A lot of angry males who apparently “love Boris we do, love Boris we do....”

Mylittleradio · 07/09/2019 17:32

Have they all just fallen out of the pub I wonder? Thanks for link

Looked that way no banners/flags usual protest paraphernalia in the clips I have seen.

MockersthefeMANist · 07/09/2019 17:45

Have they all just fallen out of the pub I wonder?

And is this what happens when Weatherspoons lowers its prices?

justasking111 · 07/09/2019 17:49

Twitter is the only place to see what is happening at times, the media are I suspect asked or instructed not to cover things public safety and all that.

MrsTerryPratchett · 07/09/2019 17:54

Looks like a large number of police and a small number of skinheads protesters.

GreekOddess · 07/09/2019 17:56

And this is why I'm actively seeking to leave this country. Awful awful people.

Mylittleradio · 07/09/2019 17:56

"Justasking* it was actually on the BBC news funnily enough, just a few mins ago .

Greek there are grim people like that everywhere though sadly

KennDodd · 07/09/2019 17:57

Any link?

Autumnintheair · 07/09/2019 18:00

Greek where will you go?

France? Have fun! Weekly protests with thousands of violent rioters... And just ordinary folk...

Or Germany... Rallies, protests happen there to, oh and Italy..

Honestly! What ridiculous reactions to tiny group of men causing tiny bit of trouble.

Get real. Do you watch the news? Have you see what real riots look like, what real protests look like?

Some of the most momentus moments in history happen when people march on Parliament...

It was thanks to rioters that poll tax was over turned.
It should never get a point where people get angry but if this is it...

Mylittleradio · 07/09/2019 18:00

Kenn can't see anything apart from the Twitter link up thread. It was on the BBC rolling news, just tuning in to c4 news now to see if any reports...

Missing you already. Don’t forget to delete your Mumsnet membership. We wouldn’t want you getting sullied by association. Hmm

I’m just surprised it hasn’t started sooner. It’s the combination of drink, sunshine and bigotry. That type will always find some reason to cause trouble.

Mylittleradio · 07/09/2019 18:02

The remain marches have all been ☮️ peaceful - interesting that these were reported to be pro-brexit activists - just sayin

OP posts:
KennDodd · 07/09/2019 18:10

All the race hate groups are pro Brexit so I'm not surprised if it's coming from them.

Mylittleradio · 07/09/2019 18:13

So sad. Michael Heseltine on news now, talks so much sense.

OP posts:
MrsTerryPratchett · 07/09/2019 18:14

I grew up with these types controlling the pubs and the streets and it was dreadful. Couldn't go certain places with my friends and heaven forbid me and a black/Asian male friend were seen together.

I don't want to go back to those days.

Mylittleradio · 07/09/2019 18:15

Me neither MrsTerryPratchett 😪 dark days

OP posts:
NoBaggyPants · 07/09/2019 18:24

The problems started around lunchtime. Members of the "Democratic Football Lads Alliance" throwing things and shouting at the remain supporters. Not sure what has happened since then.

dirtyrottenscoundrel · 07/09/2019 18:25

This will only get worse the longer brexit is delayed unfortunately.

Songsofexperience · 07/09/2019 18:27

All the more reason to not give in.

MrsTerryPratchett · 07/09/2019 18:29

After which they'll go on to do the jobs all the EU people used to do. Fruit picking, care work, working for the NHS? In the English utopia following Brexit.

Nope, Brexit is just the beginning. They think they have a voice now. This will get worse.

Mylittleradio · 07/09/2019 18:48

😪

Peregrina · 07/09/2019 19:11

Shouldn't they all be locked up, or made to do a dose of military service? Isn't that their prescription for others?
