I know EDL, UKIP, and I believe there's a small remainer group there too. Who else?
I am fairly sure after 11pm there will be riots I see Facebook groups saying before that time it's terrorism after 11pm it's Magna Carta or something like that.

They are demonstrating the solidarity of leaving by having 9 protests that can't agree with each other.

Dolly2007 · 29/03/2019 18:13

Yeah ok! but what groups?

So the leave campaign too and 800 yellow vests from France too. So who are the other four?

I think these protests represent everything that was wrong with the vote in the first place. It’s like people wanting fish for dinner but when it comes to tea time some people are pissed off that they have been given fish fingers, some just fancied prawn cocktail crisps, and some realised they didn’t even like fish in the first place and wish they’d chosen the shepherds pie.

Whatever happens it’s going to be shit, and it’s not going to be the “will of the 17.4 million people who voted leave”. It will probably end up being “the will of 30% of the 17.4 million who voted leave” whilst the remaining 12 million leavers and 16 million remainers are going to be highly pissed off that their views don’t count because of some warped view of what democracy should look like Hmm

Back to the OP, ive seen reports of Leave Means Leave (Fartage), UKIP (Yaxley-Scumbag), EDL, Yellow Vests (although they may just be work men...), Remain, Frexit protestors (French retired persons club it looks like), the Press, the Police. That makes 8 Wink

BooseysMom · 29/03/2019 19:35

@ElyElyOy.. Very well said! I was thinking the same thing today.

BillywilliamV · 29/03/2019 19:38

Well, there’s the People’s Front of Judea..,

Looks like they're kicking off outside Downing Street. Funny how 1m+ people managed not to do this.

Dolly2007 · 29/03/2019 22:47

Yes but they lost the vote.

So the winners are kicking off - why? They should be breaking out the champagne.

Dolly2007 · 29/03/2019 23:28

Indeed they should be celebrating

There is nothing reported in the media but on Twitter there seems to be videos burning EU flags.

Doesn't seem like a very big protest though.

Well, Nigel Farage did call Westminster "Enemy Territory", irresponsible fool that he is. Angry

khaleesi71 · 29/03/2019 23:46

I thought it was the Judean Peoples Front. I've got badgers ears and stoats noses and am off to watch proceedings - they've all had a hell of a time.

Pinnacular · 29/03/2019 23:53

Stand up to racism had about 300 there apparently.

Mistigri · 30/03/2019 08:06

So the winners are kicking off - why? They should be breaking out the champagne.

They were breaking out the strong lager, which is why it was kicking off.

This will also happen if we actually leave - the violence will come from the winning side (directed, under the influence of alcohol and drugs, against foreigners, journalists, politicians and anyone else considered insufficiently patriotic).

BillywilliamV · 30/03/2019 08:19

If these people had a brain cell between them then they might be able to explain to the rest of us how to get out of this mess. Presumably one of them has an idea of what was in their minds when they voted to leave.
Or are we all just turkeys arguing over whether to have bread sauce or cranberry sauce with Christmas Dinner?
