Been reading this article and this sounds a promising idea... in the hope we remain.

However forgot to clarify not confirmed or anything.

I hope we remain too. Have only skimmed it as tired but my thoughts are it seems a bit pointless to get the deal through then decide if we go ahead. Although ideally we should have had a deal in place to start with before the first referendum!
My worry is that recent polls suggest over a quarter of the public think no deal = no brexit so I'm very concerned that once again people won't know what they are voting for.
The hard line brexiters have been made more so by this political shit storm so again I'd worry that more would vote leave thinking it will put an end to all the back and forth (not realising of course that Brexit is just the start of all the back and forth! )
To be fair lots of us are planning for and assuming the worst of no deal brexit so anything would be better than that.
As long as NI is protected and the GFA upheld .

Agreed am worriedif this happens and then we get a vote and leave win.

I think on the double voting thing is, mps have the choice of do we put forward this deal to the public, and then we decide do we want the deal or too remajn. Meaning wr lose the risk of a no deal brexit.

I think taking no deal off the ballot will cause another shit storm and it will suddenly be not agreed anymore and the whole performance will start again. Too many people want no deal.

Tiscold · 11/02/2019 09:59

Very silly people do definitely.

OP posts:
Namechangre · 11/02/2019 14:37

There will be uproar if there is no 'no deal' choice if there is another referendum.
Why is right that 'leave' has to win twice but if remain were to win, that would be it done and dusted.

Comments paraphrased from the daily fail. (NOT MINE!)

Thesuzle · 11/02/2019 14:41

Leave did win
“No deal” brexit just means trading on WTO rules which the rest of the world do anyway

Tiscold · 11/02/2019 14:47

By having no deal we will royally fuck up our country, that's quite a big issue

There is not a single country in the world that trades purely on WTO terms Confused

SunnySomer · 11/02/2019 14:53

The Suzle - no they don’t! Nobody does!

Coppersulphate · 11/02/2019 15:06

I favour no deal.
Yes, definitely no deal.
I know quite a lot of remainers who would vote leave if there was another referendum because they feel it would be going against the original result.

Laidbackorlazy · 11/02/2019 15:15

It seems to me that nobody has ‘won’ anything. We have all lost - reason, hope, sense, interest in facts, you name it we’ve lost it.

Yes, definitely no deal for me. What larks Hmm

Tiscold · 11/02/2019 15:17

Ooh yes no deal, lets crash out of the biggest free trading block in the world and instead have massive tarriffs with our closest partners. Because 35% tarriffs on agricultural goods and produce is such a smart idea.

Breaking News... neither would we. Doh!

bellinisurge · 11/02/2019 15:36

My local community fb pages - I live in a strong leave area - has gone quiet recently. But no, the Quitlings are back on with Let's get on with it" bollocks. "It"being no Deal judging by the other bollocks trotted out with it.
As if people who are opposed to no Deal are loving this stupid fucking chaos.
Dickheads.
Which I don't say on my local FB pages because I don't want those knobs to know where I live.

PerverseConverse · 11/02/2019 15:41

No deal=fuck over the Irish peace process.

everythingisginandroses · 11/02/2019 22:53

My local MP says it will all be fine, because leaving without a deal is the same as leaving with one, and we can do a trade deal with Mauritania, or some fucking rubbish like that Angry
