If Brexit doesn’t get sorted, MPs might have to cancel February half term?!

I’ve just read on the BBC news app.

Is that true-do MPs have half term breaks?

They seem to be on holiday all the time!

Diddums! They all carry on like they are at school ; they get the same holidays too by the sounds of it.

Uh-oh. Thing must be getting serious...

I think they have a break from parliament but most of them will go home and do things there - meetings, answering letters, etc etc

They had better not cancel the kids half term tho!

I have planz!

The House of Commons has a break scheduled from 14-25 February. You can see all its holiday dates here...

Bear in mind that doesn't (necessarily) mean that individual MPs are actually on holiday, only that they're not in Parliament. They still have their constituency affairs to deal with. In fact, it's likely a lot of them will choose to - or have to - use the time to catch up with local goings-on in their area.

Maybe they are in their constituencies but I doubt many of them are doing work.
We're going to be abroad during half term enjoying ourselves whilst they are 'hard at work' - diddums for them!
