So folks. As chaos currently seems to reign and it's anybody's guess where the curtain drops...

What plans are people making for holidays in 2019? Or, more rather, where and where would you not feel comfortable booking? The idea of a year with no escape from this mad country we're trapped in does not feel me with joy...

Yes I am looking at flights for July but can't quite bring myself to book them, although I have booked the hotel.

Hi, Irish person here so I am sorry if I don't really understand the implications of Brexit when it comes to holidays as much as you. But why not go out side the EU countries? Morocco, Egypt, Turkey, we were there this year and it is a lovely place. We flew into Dalaman and went to a place called Olu Deinz. Amazing weather, lovely people, dirt cheap, I felt so safe (which I haven't the last few years in Spain!).

It's not the destination country that might be the problem though, it's the regulation and insurance of flights in and out of the UK that's the sticking point. We currently use EU legislation and won't do after March I think. And we don't have a British system up and running yet.

I'm not booking anything yet. Might do a UK holiday instead.

We’re on a cruise at Easter. Well I guess the worst that would happen is a few sea days but v unlikely!

I'll be going to visit family in France, but not until August, so hopefully transport glitches will be sorted out by then.
