Seriously, what is the fucking point of all this?

The government have released yet more bad news today.

This isn't Project Fear.

This is coming from the very people who want to make it a sucess and even they can't help but admit it's going to be shite.

How can Leavers defend this?

The point is blunt, the beast is dead. (Pythons).

I have battled on FB with my friend's Mum who is a vociferous Leaver. She says things like get on with it and we could have left by now if MPs had cancelled their holidays. She now concedes the loss of many businesses, jobs, recession, further falling of the pound and soaring prices are likely consequences. However she defends it all by saying " it's not all about money"...That's how you defend it.

Shocking isn't it lonely

If there were some great prize they could refer to I'd get it but there isn't.

Immigration isn't going to change.

The non-white people aren't going to leave.

We will have to rake responsibility for the laws we previously blamed on the EU.

Not saying I think any of those things are prizes, but they appear to be the goal of Leavers.

Most of the 'ills' in the UK are down to the distribution of the money.
London and South East getting too large a share. It would be folly to spread it equally as a concentration of labour can generate greater wealth than widely dispersed but the degree of inequality HAS to be tackled and the Gov won't do it. To an extent the EU was helping with the regeneration funds but it probably wasn't emphasised enough at the Vote and of course it should have been applied before areas got too run down as it turns into a massive downward spiral where jobs then amenities disappear and you are left with areas with only people and few jobs or money.

Even most Leavers (even in gov) who are still absolutely commited to Brexit now admit it's going to be shit and won't benefit the UK. There seem to be a bit of an attitude (Even amongst some Remainers) that once the decision is made you can't change it. I bet the very same people saying this wouldn't go ahead with a house purchase if it was discovered, after the offer was accepted that the vendor had lied about the house and the survey show the house was falling down.
