We need a new political party - who could it be?

The country is becoming more and more divided between leave/remain and Tory/Labour.

There's a danger that we will follow the US in becoming a two-party state (in fact we are pretty much there already).

We need another prominent party to come forward, to occupy the middle-ground and bring a more balanced approach to politics.

But who? Where are the Lib Dems?, the Green Party? I've heard nothing from them before, during or after the Eu Referendum.

I'm surprised you say you haven't heard from the LibDems or Greens. Tim Farron has vowed to fight the next election on a pledge to stop Brexit and the LibDems have 15,000 new members since the referendum. Caroline Lucas has signed an early day motion demanding that the outcome be subjected to proper parliamentary scrutiny and the Green Party is calling for a Progressive Electoral Alliance. link here
I think the problem is that the media is very - shall we say 'selective' - in the stories they choose to promote.

For me, what is missing at the moment is a good Labour party. I think they should reject the legacy of Blair, New Labour and beyond, which seems to have put Labour as centrist and pushed the Tories further right, and remember what they did best which was standing up for ordinary working people. A left-wing pro-Brexit party would be great, as we're not all UKippers!

Yep we without a doubt need a labour party. How can they be going so wrong. I feel some voices in it - like Diane Abbot are so convoluted now, they cant see the wood for the trees. Politics is and always has been a game for her, and those like her, them against us, Labour V Tory. I would clear out all that dead old wood actually, and have people like Frank Field, and Gisela at the fore, leading and refreshing.

If you mean Gisela Stuart as a 'leading and refreshing' support, count me out! She's my mum's MP and I hope she's deselected due to the way she's led the Leave campaign. Kate Hooey, for exactly the same reasons.

I would like to have the Way party.

The party that creates the way for people to get on with their lives.
