OK, I a. being tongue in cheek (a bit), but how about an idea?

We are still part of Europe and will be for some time to come whilst the negotiations carry on. And whilst we are part of Europe we have free movement. And we have been told that everyone who has moved will have the right to stay where they are post separation.

So why don't all the remainers who want to be part of Europe take advantage of the free movement and become part of Europe?

PS... this is tongue in cheek!

So many threads with people talking endlessly about leaving. If people want to go, just go, don't bore the rest of us to death threatening to do it.

Itinerary · 03/07/2016 21:43

Imagine the country with only those who voted leave left.

Obviously a lot of people would be missed, so no, I wouldn't be in favour.

But the country would be populated by a cross section of ordinary people, just as it is now.

Unless you think all "leave" voters are the same?

Just don't bother, this poster is just out to wind people up...

JudyCoolibar · 03/07/2016 22:24

A.K.A go home, forrins/pro EU types/people of the wrong nationality.

RortyCrankle · 04/07/2016 00:45

No Judycoolbar just those who are endlessly whinging and threatening to go. I've said elsewhere I'm happy for people who are from the EU or elsewhere who have the skills we need and are here to work and contribute to the country. So please don't put words in my mouth.

CaptainBrickbeard · 04/07/2016 21:20

And today May has thrown the right to stay of EU nationals here into doubt and turmoil. No one knows what will happen to British people living abroad or people from other European countries living here. People don't know if they will have the right to stay in their homes, with their families, at their jobs. But hey, the OP can get a great big laugh out of it because it's just all so funny, right?

JudyCoolibar · 04/07/2016 21:27

Oh, righty. So we keep the "desirable" forrins but get rid of the ones who have lived here for years, paid taxes, made their homes here, have families here, but for whatever reason aren't able to work at the moment. Especially if they dare to complain that their lives have been made hell since the referendum.

Unless you're the OP, Rorty, I wasn't putting words in your mouth.

fakenamefornow · 04/07/2016 21:34

Oh, I think there will definitely be a brain drain OP, so plenty of people will move.
