AIBU to be a little bit in love with Mark Carney

He's a total silver fox.
And he managed to calm the FTSE last week.
And he has £250bn at his disposal (presumably if the banks don't need bailing out that could go towards a romantic dinner fund?)

YANBU. Yeah apparently at the meeting they had recently (where they give out money - why can't I go along?!), they only gave out £3 billion. So plenty left for dinner!

He is lovely - I go weak at the knees when he comes out. One of the few that seems calm and measured. just what we need.

Carney is doing a good job of saving our bacon. Just pray at the UKIP candidate for leadership of the tory party (leadsom) doesn't get elected or he'll be another casualty of the referendum.

Agreed. I think he is lovely. DH and DC haven't yet noticed they get SHUSHED every time Carney is on TV. Well I need to know about gilt yields and quantitative easing. This is our future. BE QUIET.

Did you see him being questioned by Jacob Rees Mogg in a parliamentary committee. Rees Mogg was trying to flap him, but he was unflappable. Rees Mogg started to not so much question, as make statements wrt his own bias. Did not serve the committee well. Carney came out of it very well. Rees Mogg not so much.

Ooh I'll try and find it pan. His high levels of unflappability are v attractive.

I've just been researching him, apparently he is Irish as well as Canadian. Hurrah! He's married, sob, to a really nice woman, yay. He's only doing this job for 5 years then he is deserting us all. Bastard.
