I don't massively admire May but Gove as PM, that's just so far beyond the pale it's ridiculous.
If he gets in then the country is truly fucked. I wish I'd got foreign grandparents instead of Gt. Grandparents.

Holy crap! Just seen him, The Goviot, on BBC news. If he thinks that pontificating, self aggrandising little speech will endear him to anyone...

I ended up singing

I just heard the interview with Gove on PM. I feel as if I'd stepped in something.

Could it possibly ever be acceptable for the spouse of a PM to be a Daily Mail columnist?

Something very fishy indeed about her supposed 'mistake' sending that email to a member of the public. Have none of them heard of the Data Protection Act? In this case, it was a private email that is alleged to have gone astray, but if his wife is that involved in his career, I'd have some concerns about data security in future - if it was a genuine mistake. Which I'm far from convinced about.

All very odd.

I doubt he would win

I am not sure it's the right thing for the country to have a GE in the next year Labour need to sort themselves out and would prefer May to lead negotiations than Gove

Boris is already getting sympathy Hmm he will be back
