Scottish M'netters. If you had a referendum tomorrow, would you vote to stay part of the U.K, or vote for independence & stay in the EU?

Just posted this on another thread, but it seems that the Scottish MEP Alyn Smith is already begging on Scotland's behalf to stay in the EU. here He does actually use the words "I beg you" by the way, in case you don't read it. I didn't make that up.

I would vote for independence.

See this is what I don't understand - you want independence from the UK to be part of the EU - that's not really being 'independent' is it.
